WHO ARE 'DIGITAL DJS' ?

DigitalDjs are that hot off the press, there isn't too much to say, apart from their first ever live gig showcased at the worlds biggest dance music festival 'Creamfields' earlier this year, Boxing Day of 2008 will see them live at The Warehouse Project and their first production, a remix of 'Talking Heads - Psycho Killer' is set to hit danc floors across the world - so not a bad start! Oh... and of course, you can catch them in the main room at Loaded this year at the Dunkenhalgh!

It's the trio behind 'DigitalDjs' who have a story to tell. First off, Dj and Promoter Jamie Harvey, also the brain child behind one of the most up and coming clubbing brands 'Supersocial', has plenty of 'boastable' success stories under his belt. Its only last year that Mixmag tipped 'Supersocial's' annual 'Loaded' New Years Eve spectacular in the top 5 NYE events of the North. The Loaded party played host to 2500 ultra swish tip-top social enthusiasts, with the likes of Rob Tissera, Huey, Kissdafunk and Twisted Elegance on the entertainment bill. This annual sell out success is looking to take the reins again this year at the 800-year-old stately home, playing host to 1500 invite only guests.

'Supersocial', Jamie's 'daytime job' is also proud of its second production / sub brand 'Body Language'. A club night with a difference, BL is set to tour club lands favorite ‘back rooms’, giving clubs the perfect secondary option to the main room action. Keep your eyes peeled for tour dates and venues at www.supersocial.net

When it comes to the 'ones and two's', Jamie has managed to secure a solid portfolio of gigs during his 10 year apprenticeship in the business. Clubs such as Sankeys Soap, Bed, Gatecrasher, Area 51 and Feel to name but a few, have seen him on the same bill as djs Groove Armada, Frankie Knuckles, ATFC, Jazzy M, Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Jeremy Healy and many more. Jamie's ability to adapt his style to most clubbing crowds means you can expect top drawer, 'hands in the air' action during his sets. An amalgamation of vocals, electro, club classics and turbo charged house favorites, completes a fun fuelled rollercoaster journey of 4/4 loops and 'reach for the lazers' brake downs. Jamie puts the party into the DigitalDjs new style electro trio!

Ben OC, the second addition to the team is another 'time served' dj from the North with just under 11 years experience to prove it. With a music collection bigger than 'Jimmy Savile', and an fantastic ear for great dance floor filling tracks, it’s the credible, flawless journey of house music that Ben brings to the 'DigitalDjs' table. When flicking through Ben's portfolio you will see his name in and amongst house music stars such as Sandy Rivera, Rob Tissera, Groove Armada and K Klass to name but a few and weather its a warm up set or a peak time energy filled main slot, Ben always delivers. He's the one who adds the extra squeaky noises, bleeps and beeps when DigitalDjs are in full flow!

Paul Clarkson. Let me just set the record straight when it comes to Paul. Paul has never touched a 1210 turntable or a Pioneer CDJ in his life. Give Paul two cd's and his natural reaction is to stick them in two DVD players. He's the visual master behind the DigitalDjs visual show. When at all possible, the digital trio will also present a mind blowing visual explosion, synchronized with every beat, vocal and brake down. Paul is the man to not only decides what clips display on screen, but also produces the clips before they even get to that stage. This means when all three digital masters are in full flow, the show is certainly not to be contended with - a true experience!
